United States donated 32 computers to public schools in Cotabato. The computer are complete with operating system, application software, encarta and anti virus with with 18 printers. ISAID also provided ICT training for more than 100 teachers in making lesson plan, develop teaching materials and record the grades using excel.

Through the partnership with Microsoft Philippines, USAID, EQUALLS2 or and DepED through its implementing partner, Save the Children, will check on the teachers’ progress quarterly.

This coming months, 9 municipalities in Cotabato will also receive the same computers and training. USAID aims to improve the quality of education in Mindanao through enhancing learning opportunity through information and communication technology.
