2009 Education Week Celebration

The Department of Education will celebrate the 2009 Education Week nationwide on Dec 7-14, 2009 with the theme "Makabuluhang Edukasyon:Solusyon sa Hamon ng Makabagong Panahon".

The celebration aim to reaffirm and emphasize the role of education in empowering and developing the young to be productive citizens of the country and responsive tot he needs of the times strengthen cooperation among stakeholders in education to achieve quality and relevant education.

All school officials are encourage to plan and conduct simple and austere program and activities during the week consistent with the theme and objectives of this years celebration. Regional Directors and School Superintendents are enjoined to take active lead in the week long celebration.
